Alicia Vikander with a veeery golden makeup, both soft and exciting at once - I loved it! - and straight hair, parted slightly on the side, tucked behind the ears
Another soft one I loved was Rooney Mara - total focus on the lashes, almost imperceptible smoky eye, but the kind that leaves the eyes defined and highlighted, defined brows and light peach blush and lipstick
After the Golder Globes, Rooney went again for the “double updo”, two ponytails that meet, with the roots suuuuper pulled back
Julianne Moore always looking like a diva with soft waveson her hair and makeup focus on the lashes, with a touch of gold close to the lower lashes
Emilia Clarke had eyeliner + shimmery eyeshadow - looove it - and natural hair with a “I threw ittothe side and went on” kinda quiff
Naomi Watts’ hair was also quite natural, and for her makeup she had a gorgeous raspberry lipstick + top lash line lined with a pencil and, on the bottom lash line, only the external corner is lined
Another messy hairstyle, on Rachel McAdams - my guess is that they choose this look because 1. itprovides a nice contrast with the gala dress & 2. the SAG Awards are less formal than the Oscars! For her makeup she did a shimmery brown smoky eye
I loved Rachel's haircut!
But here were also a few more polished hairstyles, like the low bun parted in the center that Brie Larson had - with orangey red lipstick and eyeliner + false lashes
Brie’s updo seen from the side, with loops and twists
Helen Mirren always like a diva also, super soft makeup, but highlighting the eyes and pink cheeks
Kate Winslet also went for a more polished look with a chignon + soft makeup
Detail of Kate’s chignon, parted to the side and tight with twisted strands close to the scalp, without creating much volume on the chignon
Kate Mara also has a nice haircut, and she wore her fringeto the side. As for her makeup, gold and brown eye pencil contouring the eyes, to define without making it look heavy
Queen Latifah with a super high bun - I miss seeing high buns on the red carpet! - and makeup with eyeliner and bold lashes
I love Eva Longoria’s hair, worn down but with drama - parted exactly in the center, wavy texture and pulled behind the ears - and makeup with looots of lashes and earthy/pinky shades
Viola Davis had her eyeshadow matching her hair, and I postedit here because I get this question a lot - can you orcan you not? There isno rule, I would say itisinno way mandatory, but itis also not forbidden! And amazing wine lipstick + smooth blown out
Charlotte Tilbury has been one of my favourite beauty brands since it launched, 6 years ago. It’s not exaggeration to say I probably wear at least one of her products everyday, they’re just so so good – so it was a major privilege to be able to film with her for my YouTube channel! I’ve […]
I adore Trinny Woodall’s Trinny London makeup range – the concept is so genius, the products are so easy, so practical and on the go. I literally cannot be without her highlighter, blush and eyeshadows – all cream textures and spot on shades. Recently, Trinny invited me to be a part of her hilarious Trinny […]
My dream is to have one full hour to do my makeup whenever I need to well, put makeup on – it’s so nice to take the time to go through each step, to experiment with different products and techniques, for me it’s a form of meditation. But obviously real life does not allow such […]
