Yesterday the MTV Video Music Awards took place, and here are my favorite hairstyles and makeup from the red carpet!

Jessie J with a very clean makeup focusing totally on the lashes – I love it – and sleek hair very close to the scalp and parted on the middle

I loved Jordan Dunn’s new haircut! Beautiful. For the makeup, black eye pencil on the contour and lots of mascara

I really love this sleek combed back hairstyle that Iggy Azalea wore – it’s very minimalistic and goes well with elaborate clothes!

Kelly Rowland with a different and great way to wear a tiara braid, closer to the forehead. As for the makeup, bright eyeshadow on the eyelid and on the internal corner of the eye and – guess! – lots of mascara. I also thought this pink lipstick was beautiful

There is something vert subtle about Kim Kardashian’s hairs tyle that made me love her look a lot: it’s loose, has soft and beautiful waves, but most of all it seems that the front of the hair was combed forward – a matter of direction, which I thought made it a more modern loose hairstyle! I also liked the makeup with a bronze eyeshadow close to the bottom lashes

Beyoncé showing that less is more, with a very soft smokey eye in shades similar to her skintone and a nude gloss + loose hair with waves

Nina Dobrev with a very high and voluminous pony tail + lipstick matching the dress

I love the makeup Kendall Jenner had, eyeliner from the middle to the external corner of the eye – I do it a lot! Minimalistic sleek hair to complete the look

Jennifer Lopez with her traditional and gorgeous glow and a smokey eye in shades of grey + super sleek hair

I loved seeing Joan Smalls with very natural curls – we don’t see it a lot on the red carpet right? And eyes contoured with black eye pencil

Another one from Jessie J, after performing – heavier makeup because she had to be on stage and all, but I loved the red lips and the eye with total focus on the lashes (like when she arrived)

Taylor Swift’s hair with a very natural texture and a cat eye with a green touch around the eyes
